A honey pack (also called a honey sachet or royal honey) is a single-serve packet of honey-based paste sold as a sexual performance booster. Most are marketed as herbal supplements, are not reviewed by the FDA before sale, and are sold in gas stations, corner stores and online marketplaces.
Do honey packs work?
Honey itself has no proven effect on erections. When men report that a honey pack 'worked', the most likely explanation is an undeclared pharmaceutical hidden in the product. The FDA has repeatedly issued public warnings about royal honey and similar sexual enhancement products found to contain undisclosed sildenafil or tadalafil — the same actives found in prescription ED medication.
Why are hidden ingredients dangerous?
